'Newcastle could be perfect' - Darren Bent tips Jose Mourinho to make shock move to St James' Park after Roma sacking

Mourinho had his latest high-profile sacking when Roma decided to fire the Portuguese manager and replace him with I Giallorossi legend, Daniele de Rossi. The former Real Madrid coach had a decent start to life in Italy with La Lupa, however, a poor first half to the season followed by a loss to Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-final saw the Portuguese eventually lose his job. Bent, a former striker for Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, has claimed that Newcastle would be the perfect job for Mourinho to bounce back. Darren Bent was speaking on Lord Ping: Red or Black, when he said: "I think Jose Mourinho’s still got it, but he's better as a cup competition manager, rather than a league manager - the last time he won a league was with Chelsea in 2015.
